Belle Monappa Hegde— People’s Doctor !
I wish I had heard about him quite early but never late than before. I dont know him personally. It all started with a video that I saw in Facebook in the year 2019 in which he was seen addressing an audience which also included a Q&A session.
A medical practitioner with a M.B.B.S from Stanley Medical College. M.D. from King George Medical College , FRCP from Royal College of Physicians. He also has a FACC and FAMS. Hegde has also attained training in cardiology from Harvard Medical School under Bernard Lown. If you dont know who Bernard Lown is — In 1985, Bernard Lown accepted the Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, an organization he co-founded.
A visiting faculty at many universities, Hegde serves as the Chairman of the Mangalore chapter of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and has served as Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University. Hegde is also the author of several books in English and Kannada. Apart from publishing several medical research papers, Dr. Hegde is an affiliate professor of Human Health, University of Northern Colorado since 2002.

Personally, I follow Hegde’s talks because of the credible information that he gives in the most simple way. Hegde also stresses on how there is a Mafia operating around the world who earn money unethically by manipulating the ignorance of people. Hegde clearly explains how Medicine or Hospitals have become a business and no more is a service to humanity.
So, the best I can do for you all is ask you to search for “ Dr. B M Hegde’s fan’s club” in Facebook and not blindly believe but evaluate as against your experiences with as much clinics or doctors or hospitals you have visited. I want or hope that people are more medically conscious now than being ignorant and fall prey to foxy eyes.
